More than 250 Philadelphia firefighters battled a massive six-alarm blaze that erupted at a warehouse early Sunday.
The fire started shortly after 2 a.m. in Philadelphia's Tioga section, KYW-TV reports. About half of the department's on-duty firefighters responded to the incident, which is considered the city's largest fire since early 2016.
The blaze partially collapsed the warehouse, and flames could be seen miles away. Although the structure is located in a residential neighborhood, no homes were threatened, and video from the scene showed residents helping firefighters run hoses.
At least one firefighter was injured in the fire and taken to the hospital. Details concerning the injuries were not released, but the firefighter is expected to recover.
Crews worked for hours to get the flames under control.
